MICHAEL PURMENSKÝ (comic book artist; Czechia)

Michael Purmenský is a Czech educated graphic designer and illustrator. As a member of the Wildcat studio team, he primarily focuses on book illustrations, cover design, and book layout. He is open both to illustrating children’s books and to experimenting with realistic painting techniques.

His first major comics project was a biographical graphic novel about director Quentin Tarantino. Alongside other projects, including the preparation of a comic adaptation of the novel All Quiet on the Western Front, his first major literary adaptation is George Orwell’s Animal Farm, which is scheduled for release this year.

His most recent work is a collaboration on the comic book Stories Untold, expanding the lore of the Kingdom Come: Deliverance universe, where he illustrated the story of Father Bohuta and a connecting storyline about wandering comedians.

He is currently beginning work on a sequel set in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance universe while continuing to pursue a range of other illustration projects.
