R. M. GUÉRA (comics book artist; Serbia)

R. M. Guéra is best known for his art on the DC Comics (Vertigo/Warner Bros.) bestseller series SCALPED, with writer Jason Aaron, book that besides twice Eisner nominees, also brought them nomination for best noir series at Angouleme 2014. Prior to success of this series, Guera was working as complete author on pirate genre album HOWARD BLAKE; as well as LE LIEVRE DE MARS, with writer Patrick Cothias, both for French publisher Glénat.

Besides great variety of covers, he also worked on with Quentin Tarantino on INGLORIOUS BASTERDS short (PLAYBOY), as well as on complete graphic novel DJANGO UNCHAINED. Annually appears in USA mainstreams such as Marvel (THOR, NIGHTHAWK), Dark Horse (ASHES, GRINDHOUSE), DC Comics (BATMAN, UNFOLLOW) as well as for UK’s 2000AD (JUDGE DREDD).

Among other projects he is currently working again teamed with Jason Aaron on their new series THE GODDAMNED, for Image Comics.
