Trono is an Italian 2D artist. He worked for Sergio Bonelli Editore on the titles Dragonero and Zagor, collaborated with writer Thomas Pistoia, and together they created the dystopian/erotic world of Pantapolis and the character Valentine Hild. Valentine's adventures were described in Testa o Croce, a three-part miniseries. The French publisher Tabou Éditions has released a new five-part series on the origins of Valentine Hild.
