Skymone is a Danish cosplayer, judge, and event organizer with over a decade of experience on the European cosplay scene. She has been actively involved in cosplay since 2013 and is known for her strong focus on craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and a constant drive to expand her technical skill set.
Through the years she has made everything from intricate elves with armors that glow to 90s nostalgia characters and Disney princesses. She prefers characters where her nearly floor-length hair doesn't need to be hidden away under a wig. Each new cosplay is approached as an opportunity to learn a new technique, whether it involves material work, embroidery, foam crafting, electronics, or LED integration.
Over the years, she has achieved numerous competition successes at events such as Gamescom, DreamHack, Sci-Fi-Con, and Koyocon, earning awards for craftsmanship, innovation, and overall presentation. Today, she increasingly focuses on her roles as a judge, guest, and organizer, which she considers the most fulfilling part of her cosplay journey.
Skymone is also the author of the free eBook Cosplay Materials, sharing her knowledge and experience with the wider community. She frequently collaborates with her husband Zibartas Cosplay and the cosplay group Warcrafters, with whom she focuses on educating newcomers and showcasing cosplay across European conventions.
